I have created a slide show! Check this out!

My friend, Homarjun, about whom I will tell later is full of ideas and it was only his idea that why don't we capture different moods of ourselves and events whatever we do usually. And further, implementation of this idea was possible only because of Razesh because we needed a good camera for our project and only he could afford to buy it. So, Razesh and I went to Walmart, bought the camera and within no time, the project was on its way. We tried to capture as much as pictures as possbile within the period of one month.

This slide show is mainly about 6 people, namely, Homarjun Agrahari(I havn't heard this name before in my life and it was so confusing to get his name right for me when I first met him), Gregory Fernandes(Some poeple hear his name in a wrong way when he tells his name..What...Gauri?), Razesh Pilla( His actuall name is Rajesh but he likes his name to be pronounced as Razesh with a Z in it, I don't know why), Dipti Mathur(I don't want to comment on her name because if she find me commenting, she will run to me and start arguing with me which I don't want to indulge in), Abhishek Shrivastava(Well Americans find so hard to pronounce our long names right and they finally end up making them hear very funny and I guess Abhishek is one of the victims) and finally last but not the least myself(My name has never been pronounced right even in India, I don't know why..some say it Karamveer, some say Karanbir and some Karambeer, most of my certificates I got have my name mispelled).

Before telling about these people, I would say that I have been very lucky to find and meet friends like Homarjun, Abhishek, Greg and Razesh and to be in their company. They all will go out of their way to help others no matter what time of the day it is. When I first came to US, I was hosted by Homarjun and Abhishek and since then I have been in their company. I have learnt so much by being in their company that I don't think I would have been able to learn by living somewhere else. Homarjun is a person who wants to see things right everytime and because of this one will find him scolding someone or the other very harshly. There are 24 hours in a day out of which 5-6 he will sleep and out of the remaining 19-18 hours you will find him in angry mood for about 10-12 hours (I may be exaggerating here a bit). And I betchya that no one would like to get a scolding from Homarjun because he will bash the person in a very harsh way and I have been the victim of this atrocity most of the time. Hahaha..just kidding, on the whole he's a very nice and fun person to be with and he's never afraid to try new things. Everytime you meet him, you will learn something valuable.

Abhishek is a person who no matter whatever he does, he will first calculate the factor of safety and only then he will go into it, otherwise he won't do it. Its as simple as it is. If you call him on his cell, he will reply with, "haan, bol.." 99% of the times in a very serious tone. But I would say that he's a also a person of his kind. In this world you won't find many people who would choose a longer, tough path to get their things done, but Abhishek is one of them. In short I would describe him as a hard working, very honest, kind and a very helpful person. Apart from that he's a very fast learner as I have seen him learn playing soccer and pool within no time.

About Gregory, there's nothing much to say. He's very simple and starightforward, the only thing that makes me think is how can he speak so much and that too continuously. If one should get a chance then he or she should must meet him to know that his kind of people also exist on earth. You will find him most of the times abusing 'DESIs' with words.."Desi saale, kabhi nahin sudhrenge" but he do believe that one day desis will get better and all will live happily thereafter. Besides this he's a good sportsperson, has a good knowledge about music and movies but runs far away from BBQ like anything. I would love to see a scene where Greg will be sitting all along beside a BBQ!

Now something about Razesh. He's unique in himself. I have never seen a person with such a big heart, he will ruin his plans and interests to help people around him. You will mostly find him with words "Ya man, lets do it." I have not stayed with him much but in a short span only I realised how kind and helpfull he is. There are very few characteristics with which you can identify him very easily. First of all you will find him on cell phone most of the time, secondly, he will be chanting the line, "Man, full body pain!" and thirdly, if you go out with him he will be constantly looking for good looking chicks and will say, "She's damn hot".

So this was all about the slide show and about the people in it. I would again thanks God to give me such precious friends and I hope to carry our friendship for ever.

Thanks Homarjun!

Looks like I need to enroll in "anger management" !! 10-12 hours a day of anger is definitely not good....Hey Karam, thanks for giving me a reason for "Introspection".

But, there 10-12 is a high number to reduce so fast..so please bear with me until it gets down to 'safe' limits..

anyways, very nice write up on an already superb slide show...thank you

Well, thanks Homarjun for appreciating but as I said in the post also that the numbers I have used are exaggerated a bit by me! And as far as I am concerned, for me those anger moments were always in safe limits, so no worries from my side.
Anyways thanks again.

Its good to know that you have found good friends. But as always... some people have darker sides that you may not know. It may be different from your view of your friends... but others may have a totally out look that is also the truth. Wish you well.

This is for anonymous. Well thanks for your good wishes, but in my view friendship is not realising what is bad and what is good in the other person. I agree that people have darker sides too but that is friendship all about, forgetting the bad things and cherishing the good things and good moments. No one's perfect here so no point in cribbing about the things that you don't find right! And moreover, I don't care what others have to say about the person whom I consider my friend. One should have optimistic approach towards life, not a pessimistic one!
And please can you tell me your name?

What is the point in that in telling you... I am nosey... I am sure your friends know who this is... that is why I am here...
